The {Ultimate} 7 Day Cruise Packing List

This post contains affiliate links.

You have no idea how totally pumped I am to be putting this together. Mostly because it means we will be on a sandy beach soon but also … I need this! {{CRONIC OVERPACKER ALERT}} No seriously. After my first cruise (Tyler’s 900th) a few years ago it was a huge eye opener. You don’t need all the things for a 7 day cruise. I’ll break it down here by category.

Needless to say, I’ve been planning (and researching) what I would need this time around and not to be bombarded with stuff while trying to enjoy some fun! Stay tuned for a follow up post {SOON!} as I share with you what I’m bringing myself.

The words that are highlighted in pink are clickable links so that you can see my favorite suggestions!

………………………………………………………………………………………………..

CLOTHING:
– Pajamas + Undies

 Accessories:
{{1}} Fedora or Sun Hat
{{1}} Pair of Sunglasses
{{1}} Pair of sandals (that you don’t mind getting wet)
{{1}} Pair of neutral sandals
{{1-2}} Pairs of neutral Heels or Wedges
{{1}} Beach Tote with wet/dry bag inside (Use this as your purse/carry on on your departure day. You won’t have access to your luggage immediately once you get on the ship)

………………………………………………………………………………………………..

-Swim + Coverups:
{{3 – 5}} Swimsuits depending on if you want to do laundry. I personally don’t like re-wearing swimsuits unless they have been washed (if I can help it) but I’m also not about to be doing laundry on vacation! There are some inexpensive laundry services on most cruises, as well as, self serve laundry options.

{{3}} Swim Cover Ups to toss over swimsuits. You will be in this 99% of the day except for dinner/evenings. Toss on a kimono and a pair of shorts (or a romper) for breakfast and lunch. Kimono, Dresses, linen pants, etc.

{{For Excursions}}: Swimsuit + Cover Ups work best especially if you are planning on visiting the beach or swimming. Otherwise, sneakers and tank/shorts work well, too.

………………………………………………………………………………………………..

– Outfits:
{{3 – 5}} Rompers (easiest so you don’t have to worry about packing “outfits”)
{{3 – 5}} Shorts
{{1}} Pair of your favorite jeans for dinner
{{3 – 5}} Tanks / Blouses / Shirts
{{5}} Nice Casual-ish Dresses (for dinner)
{{2}} Semi-formal or Cocktail Dresses for “Elegant” Nights (2 nights for 7 day cruises)

………………………………………………………………………………………………..

– Toiletries:
*Hanging Toiletry Organizer to keep tracking of all of your toiletries!*
Toothbrush + Toothpaste
Deodorant + Lotion
Hairbrush + Hair Products

Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash
Face Wash + Makeup Remover
Sunscreen!!!!
Minimal Makeup (Mascara, CC/BB Cream, Concealer, Blush/Bronzer, Eyeshadow/Eye Liner)
Medicine (Prescriptions, Tylenol/Advil, Dramamine/Sea Sickness, Pepto, Aloe Vera,  Minimal First Aid Supplies)
Straightener + Curling Iron
Q Tips + Tweezers + Fingernail Clippers

………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Things you don’t need:
Hairdryer + Towels

………………………………………………………………………………………………..
SUGGESTIONS:

1. I would highly suggest bringing a swimsuit/change of clothes in your “carry on” bag

2. Plan out your outfits. I am serious when I say you will be living in a swimsuit + cover up. Plan out your dinner outfits and add a few casual ones, just in case.

3. There are a lot of stairs, keep that in mind when you are choosing what shoes to bring!

Sounds like fun right? I absolutely loved our cruise last time! It is so easy, you don’t have to worry about traveling, food, or really anything. You just do whatever you want all week. Dreamy! I’ll keep you updated with some outfits posts and of course an overview once we get back!

See ya!
