The four rule gift guide for Christmas has become increasingly popular and I see why! It keeps the toy clutter down, the budget down, and helps the littles not lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas.
Here is my take (and ideas!) for the four rule guide. Keep in mind, my kiddos are VERY young, so you may need to make some modifications but I am a firm believer in getting things they can grow into and use for a long time!
What’s on your kid’s Christmas list?
#1. Something They Want
Swingset /// Trampoline /// Water Table /// Garden Table /// Play Kitchen /// Grocery Store /// Tool Bench /// Art Easel /// TeePee /// Drawing Mat /// Mini Roller Coaster /// Waterfall Playset /// Dress Up Station /// Get Ready With Me Sink /// Learning Tower
#2. Something They Need
Snack Cups /// Plates + Utensils /// Mini Chair /// Hair Bows /// Napmat + Sleeping Bag /// Toothbrush /// iPad Case /// Water Wow Books (girls + boys) /// Suitcase + Overnight Bag /// Skills Book
Amazon is my go- to for Christmas shopping! I usually make a list throughout the year and purchase everything all at once toward the end of the year. We typically shop for all the kids and draw names for the adults. I love getting it all over with at once and never stepping foot inside of a store! WIN!
